Biography

Jarlath Burns became the 41st GAA President in 2024, succeeding Larry McCarthy. A Silverbridge GAA member, he captained Armagh to the 1999 Ulster title. A dedicated administrator, he has chaired key committees and is a fluent Irish speaker. Principal of St. Paul’s High School, Bessbrook, he will serve as GAA President until 2027.
