Summary: Studying the genetic diversity and resilience of commercially important broadleaved tree species in Ireland. Genetic diversity study of four commercially important broadleaved trees (Alder, Downy & Silver Birch and Sycamore) in Ireland and susceptibility of Ash to Hymenoscyphus dieback and that of Alder to Phytophthora.
