Advanced Communication 

On completing this online session, participants will have an in-depth knowledge of the options available for communication through a Blackboard Ultra module. 

What will be covered: 

Overview of Communication Tools – Users will understand what each communication tool does and what each tool should be used for.  

Announcements – Users will be able to send module announcements to all students in their module.  

Discussions – Users will know how to create new discussion areas, how to modify discussion settings and how to organise discussions using folders. 

Messages – Users will learn how to use the Ultra messaging system. 

Class Conversations – Users will learn how to enable class conversions for various items on the module. 

Journal – Users will be able to set up a marked or unmarked journal in the module for students. 

Data Protection: We will collect and share details of your training progress and course completions so you can be contacted for further information and reminders as necessary.
