Make your impact on global healthcare challenges
With a genuine interest in student performance and career development, the MSc Biomedical Engineering team is dedicated to providing high quality support to students in every aspect of the course from the selection process to graduation.
We provide an innovative environment that not only fosters the informal interactions and formal group assignments between our students but also provides access to the technologies and expertise which encourages innovation. In carrying out their research projects, students receive strong support from their supervisors and collaborate with both industry and hospitals. We work with twelve hospitals, leading medical device companies, national and international research centres and universities to provide direct experiences to our students.
Key to this are the physical facilities for carrying out our research and innovation. The MSc in Biomedical Engineering is administered from the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute which officially opened in June 2011. This is a state-of-the-art research facility which redefines the scientific landscape in Ireland and will allow the country to take an international lead in the delivery of quality pharmaceutical and biotechnological programmes.
