Meet-a-Mentor Events

Mentoring is a great way to boost your career prospects by getting advice and support from an experienced graduate, and our Alumni Mentors are here to help you! A great way to start an initial conversation with a mentor is to attend one of our two annual alumni-to-student in-person mentoring events. One is dedicated to industries relating to the Arts, Humanities, Social Science & Business, and another to industries relevant for graduates of the STEM & Health Science disciplines.* These events are open to students for all attend.

Each Meet-a-Mentor event includes advance information on the mentors and a briefing on how to make the most of mentoring, with plenty of time during the event to network and speak with potential alumni mentors. There are designated job sector zones where you will be able to chat with a number of mentors working in specific sectors.

Information on upcoming Meet-a-Mentor events, including dates and registration links, will be posted here as it becomes available.

*Please note the School of Law, Dental Science and Nursing & Midwifery operate separate mentoring programmes for their students. For further information on these events, contact the Schools directly.
