Students must be registered for the current academic year in order to claim Scholars' privileges.

Where Students withdraw from College or go off-books during the academic year they should immediately notify Student Finance at academic.registry@tcd.ie to avoid overpayment of entitlements.

Failure to inform the College of any change in your status that effects your entitlement to Scholars' Emoluments and Privileges may result in the termination of all entitlements.

Scholars Salary
As per the majority consent by the body of Scholars and the approval of the motion by the Board of Trinity College Dublin on the 5th November 2014 the Scholars' stipend (€253.95) will be split between the Scholar (€250) and the Scholars' Committee (€3.95).  

Your €250 stipend will be paid at the end of December via EFT transfer to the bank account you have supplied details for on your student portal. 

It is recommended that you input an Irish IBAN and BIC to avoid issues in payment.  

Missing bank account details from your portal may delay your payment.

 

Please Note:

If your course starts in September you will be paid your cash in lieu of accommodation in the months December, March and June.

If your course starts in March you will be paid your cash in lieu of accommodation in the months December (after your March start), March and June.
