Take home assignments in the AI era - how to react and how to respond

While initial responses to generative AI focused on potential threats to academic integrity, it is becoming increasingly evident that these developing technologies also present considerable opportunities for teaching, learning and assessment in higher education.  In this webinar, Dr. Cuisle Forde (School of Medicine) will share how she has approached the challenge of responding to generative AI in her own teaching practice, with a particular focus on take home assignments.

• articulate an understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by generative AI, for teaching, learning and assessment
• discuss and consider a range of approaches that can be adopted within your own practice to strengthen take home assignment integrity in a world of generative AI
