Rapid developments in generative artificial intelligence (AI) have generated considerable discussion and debate in higher education. While some argue that these technologies present new opportunities for educators, many are concerned about potential threats to academic integrity.
This event aims to:
- Raise awareness of the potential implications of AI text generators and other AI tools for teaching, learning and assessment in higher education.
- Engender debate on how AI text generators could challenge and/or enhance assessment integrity in higher education.
- reflection on the wider implications of using AI text generators for TLA (including legal/ethical issues).
