Working closely with the Vice-Provost/Chief Academic Officer, the Executive Director of the Academic Services Division is responsible for the provision of high level strategic and policy advice, for the effective and efficient use of resources, and the overseeing of operations in the Division in relation to the University's strategic and academic priorities. The Executive Director is responsible for strategically and operationally refining services and evolving practices within the various strands of the division to ensure cohesiveness, capitalise on synergies and drive efficiencies. -

The Director of the Office of the Vice-Provost/CAO provides high-level, strategic administrative support to the Vice-Provost/Chief Academic Officer and is secretary to Planning Group, Heads of School Committee and other adhoc groups as required. -

The HR Partner oversees HR services for the Academic Services Directorate (ASD) and serves as a strategic HR partner to senior leaders. Responsibilities include supporting units with managing talent, workforce planning, staff engagement, change management, probation, induction, and employee relations. The HR Partner ensures seamless and timely delivery of HR processes for ASD colleagues, facilitating communication between HR and senior management teams. -

The Associate HR Partner is responsible for deputising and supporting the HR Partner in delivering a professional, high-quality HR function within the Academic Services Division. They will provide guidance and advice in the areas of talent acquisition, retention, progression, promotion, performance management, data management, employee relations, and HR best practice while facilitating positive relationships between staff in the Division. -

He is responsible for providing the financial information required for strategic and operational decision making, financial planning and resource allocation and liaises with the Financial Services Division at both a strategic planning level and on an operational basis. -
