Update from Secretary to College, Interim Chief Operating Officer and Vice Provost / Chief Academic Officer to staff and students
22 February 2022
Dear College community
We are writing to let you know that face coverings will no longer be compulsory in Trinity from next Monday, 28 February, apart from in health care settings. This is in line with the Government decision announced today. However, to continue protecting each other, especially the medically vulnerable, we still recommend mask wearing in our lecture theatres, libraries, tutorials and labs.
A COVID-19 Management Team meeting will take place on Tuesday 01 March during which other remaining details will be finalised.
We need to continue staying safe - the best way to do this is to ensure you are fully vaccinated and have your booster, and to maintain basic hand and respiratory hygiene. Please do not come to work/college if you are displaying any signs of symptoms of COVID-19. Don’t forget that twice-weekly antigen testing continues to be available to all through UniCov.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Stay safe. Stay well. Bígí slán agus sábháilte.
Kind regards,
