Update from Chief Operating Officer to staff and students
30 July 2021
Dear students and colleagues
We would like to remind staff of the return-to-work checklist when you are returning to work on campus or are coming back to work from holidays. Once approved by your Head/Manager to come on campus, ask yourself these 5 questions each day prior to travelling to work:
Do I have:
- A recent cough?
- Shortness of breath?
- A new respiratory illness?
- Fever?
- Have been advised to self-isolate in the last 14 days since you last attended the workplace?
If you answer yes to any of the above, please contact your GP immediately, follow their advice and inform your Manager accordingly.
What to do if there is a COVID-19 case on campus
Trinity’s COVID-19 Response Plan has been circulated to all Heads of Schools and Units. To see the flow chart outlining steps to take if you become aware of a confirmed case of COVID-19 on campus please click here
Vaccinations
All members of the Trinity Community are encouraged to participate in the vaccination programme to help ensure that we have a safe return to campus in the near future. For more information, please see here
UniCoV project – safeguarding our campuses
UniCoV is a pilot surveillance study to assist in the detection of increased levels of COVID-19 across higher education institutes with the aim of facilitating the safe and sustainable re-opening of campuses. You will have received an email last week about it. If you would like to volunteer to participate, please see more information here
