Research Interests

I am a Research Assistant with a keen interest in intertidal ecology and the sustainable aquaculture of species, aiding in the research of a new project: Beyond biofuel: Advanced seaweed cultivation for marine biodiscovery and climate change mitigation. The main focus of this research will explore the potential of seaweed cultivation to harness products for human health and as a means of combating climate change.  

As a Zoology graduate from Trinity, I am passionate about climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation, with my past research including work on enhancing seawall biodiversity and oyster reef restoration in Sydney Harbour, and understanding the impact of warming on seaweed-grazer interactions in Ireland.'
