I am a research assistant on the Nature+ Energy Project.
The focus of this research is based on the idea that wind farms have the potential to provide so much more than renewable energy. I am really interested in this project as it investigates the joint emergencies of biodiversity loss and climate change in a collaborative approach between research and industry. Before joining Nature+Energy, I completed my MSc in Biodiversity & Conservation and prior to this I completed a BSc in Zoology from NUI Galway. My past research includes investigating conservation measures for pollinators within urban environments and analysing the impact of forestry management techniques on small mammal populations
