2025 Institute of Physics Lecture
The School of Physics is delighted to host the 2025 Institute of Physics Lecture on February 5th at 12 pm.
About the Speaker
This year’s IOP Tyndall Lecture will be given by Dr Clara Nellist.
Dr Clara Nellist is a particle physicist at CERN and Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Amsterdam. Her research focuses on top quarks and the exploration of dark matter using machine learning. Dr Nellist is a passionate science communicator, bringing her work with CERN to life on TikTok, Youtube and Instagram, and sharing the message that there's a place for everyone in science.
Tickets
Each student group must be accompanied by a teacher for the event.
As this event has limited capacity, one registration per school is allowed and must be completed by the teacher. This will allow 10 students plus the registered teacher access to the event. Early registration is advised.
Communication about the event will be sent to the registered teachers email address. If additional tickets become available, schools on the waiting list will be contacted by Trinity and offered tickets.
Once the event is full, schools can join the waiting list by emailing physics@tcd.ie with subject IOP Tyndall 2025.
This event will be recorded and a link of the recording will be sent to registered attendees after the event.
