Start-up funds for new investigators
Start-up grants for newly independent investigators will help new academics generate early results and provide a platform for grant applications to national and international funding agencies such as the ERC, Wellcome Trust, H2020 or equivalent.
This scheme will operate as a competitive funding programme, with start-up packages ranging from €20,000 to €40,000 (inclusive of cofounding from the proposing School). Funding may cover a research assistant or any other specific research costs to enable the research activity to be enhanced and allow accelerated development of further research proposals.
