Natália Carolina Resende is Trinity’s Haddad Assistant Professor in Literary and Cultural Translation. Natália Carolina has a PhD in Linguistics with research in psycholinguistics, and over ten years’ experience in a broad range of activities such as teaching, programming, data analytics, project management, and as a research scientist in the field of linguistics and Natural Language Processing. She has wide-ranging experience both in industry and academia. She has received prestigious EU-funded research grants and published in top-ranked journals and conferences. Natália Carolina works centrally on our award-winning MPhil in Literary Translation, especially on the subject of research and training that focuses on technology for the translation of literature.

Natália Carolina is interested in supervising master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral projects that are related to the interface of literary and creative translation, and technology.
