Hubert Butler Essay Prize

The 2019 Hubert Butler Essay Prize, on the topic, 'Where does a citizen of the world belong?', has been awarded to Andrew Hammond, King’s College Cambridge. You can read the winning essay here, along with an introduction by Professor Nicholas Grene, who was one of the judges. The annual prize is run by the House of European Art (London) and is part-sponsored by the School of English.
