Announcement of new Fellow and Scholars - School of English

The School is delighted at the news of Bernice Murphy becoming one of ten new fellows in College in 2017, and at three of our SF students, Janice Lynne Deitner (English Studies) Anna Mulligan (English Studies) and Rory O Sullivan (TSM) achieving Scholarship.  

Scholarship or research achievement of a high order is the primary qualification for Fellowship, coupled with evidence of the candidate’s contribution to the academic life of the College and an effective record in teaching.  The highly competitive scholarships are awarded on the basis of special examinations, where candidates must display the highest standards of academic thinking appropriate to their discipline.
