Women in Macro: IM-TCD Virtual Workshop

We are pleased to announce the first Women in Macro Workshop on 25 April 2025, organised by the International Macro-TCD (IM-TCD) group at Trinity College Dublin, in partnership with the Irish Society for Women in Economics (ISWE).
This workshop aims to provide women macroeconomists with an opportunity to present their research and receive constructive feedback. It is targeted at junior scholars who are in the final stages of their PhD, in postdoctoral positions, assistant professors, or in equivalent policy roles.
The keynote address will be delivered by Isabelle Mejean (Sciences Po).
Format
- The workshop will take place online (via Zoom).
- Each presentation will be followed by a discussion.
- The program will include Q&A sessions to facilitate meaningful exchanges between participants.
Submission Guidelines
- Please submit a full draft of your paper using this Google Form by 28 February 2025.
- Decisions will be emailed by mid-March 2025
We invite submissions from all areas of macroeconomics, both empirical and theoretical. Examples of topics include but are not limited to:
- Business cycles and growth
- Monetary economics, central banking, and financial stability
- Labor market dynamics and macro-labor economics
- Behavioral macroeconomics
- Macroeconomic implications of inequality and demographic changes
- International macroeconomics and global financial markets
