Development Economist Alejandra Ramos Joins Trinity's Economics DepartmentAlejandra Ramos is an applied micro-economist with a focus on economic development. Her research interests are Family Economics, Education, and Labour. She is currently working on intimate partner violence, looking at how perpetrators use violence to alter the balance of power in the couple, and how this affects the household's response to transfer programs in Ecuador.
