Build Your Skills, Shape Your Future

A Trinity Career Skills Award equips you with the advantage you need to launch your career. Get involved with workshops, connect with employers, and gain experience. Complete activities and take home a Career Skills Award, a mark of your dedication and preparedness for the future.

What’s in it for me?

Develop Career Readiness: Learn to identify and showcase your valuable skills gained through academic and extracurricular activities, making you a stand-out job applicant.

Build Workplace Skills: Get equipped with practical skills valued by employers through workshops, interactive activities, and resources.

Gain Industry Exposure: Network with partner employers and organisations across different sectors, gaining valuable insight and connections.

What do I have to do?

Simply complete one activity* from each of the three following categories and claim your Career Skills Award:

  • Category One: Employer Partnership Activities*.
  • Category Two: Beyond the Classroom Activities.
  • Category Three: Experiential Learning Activities.

(* To successfully complete this category, you'll need to participate in 3 different sessions.)

Registration is through MyCareer.

You can complete these activities at your own pace and fit them around your schedule. Details of workshops and other events that are accepted for the award will be posted on MyCareer.

You can read more about the categories and types of activities here.

Reflecting On What You Have Learned

The Award also promotes reflecting on what you have learnt along the way, and participating students are required to submit a short reflective piece following the completion of their 3 activities. This reflective piece makes you realise how the skills gained through extracurricular activities are transferable and helps you to shine during interviews.
