Biological Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), is a vital research tool, providing insight in to the mechanisms of cells, tissue, organisms and bio-molecules. The facility located in TBSI features a JEOL JEM-1400 120Kv TEM, ideally suited to life sciences applications.

The facility aims to provide research and teaching services to users in a focused way for life science applications, delivering biologically orientated TEM in an integrated way.
