Fee
€150 for the course. A concession rate of €75 is

Duration
The course comprises of two lectures per week
over one twelve-week term commencing
Monday, 23 September 2013. There is a one
week break (4-8 November 2013) when no
lectures will take place.
Introduction to European
Architecture I
This lecture-only course offers a survey of
Western architecture up to c. 1520. It provides
an introduction to the critical analysis of building
types. This lecture-only course considers such
matters as issues of style, the functions of
architecture, as well as the range of technical
methods employed by architects in the context
of infuential factors such as historical period,
geographic location, and the prevailing social,
political and religious environments.
