We are a vibrant and dynamic, research-led school deeply passionate about all aspects of the natural world. We explore everything from the formation of the earth to the evolution and ecology of its organisms, and the behaviour of the environment. The natural world is diverse, extraordinary and not to be taken for granted. Through our research we seek to understand its interactions with human society.

Through our collaborative academic community and partnerships with industry, government, and global policy initiatives, we strive to foster innovation and deepen understanding across all areas of our research. As a school we are shaping solutions for a sustainable future.
